Privacy & Security

Our systems are built to be legitimate and above-board. Here's how we design them to comply with the major consumer-protection, privacy, and AI-disclosure laws that apply across the U.S. and worldwide.

Last updated: August 2026
TCPA · Telephone Consumer Protection Act

Calls & texts

The TCPA restricts automated calls and texts made without prior express written consent. Our own outreach (the SDR system) is email-only — we do not place automated marketing calls or texts. When a client uses an AI voice receptionist, it answers calls the customer chose to make, and any SMS confirmation is sent with the appropriate consent language in place. Clients are responsible for obtaining consent for any outbound calls or texts they choose to run.

CAN-SPAM Act

Email outreach

Our SDR/outbound email is designed to follow federal email law:

FTC Act · Section 5

No unfair or deceptive practices

We state facts and describe what our systems actually do. We do not make false or misleading claims, and we do not guarantee specific income or results. Third-party statistics we cite are labeled as such.

GDPR · European Union

Visitors from Europe

For visitors in the EU/EEA, non-essential cookies and tracking are not loaded until the visitor clicks "Accept" on our cookie banner. Visitors may decline, and the site still works. EU residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us.

CCPA / CPRA · California

California residents

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. To exercise these rights — including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" — email alexcareyconsulting@gmail.com.

AI Disclosure · EU AI Act & U.S. state laws

You always know it's AI

People have the right to know when they're interacting with a machine. Our AI assistants and chatbots identify themselves as AI at the start of a conversation — for example, "Hi, I'm an AI assistant." We do not disguise automated systems as human.

Massachusetts & U.S. privacy

How your data is handled

This website collects only your name, email, and the details you share when booking — not Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, or financial-account numbers. Information is handled through reputable providers (Cal.com for scheduling; our email provider) and access is limited to what's needed to serve you. See our full Privacy Policy.

Consent & client responsibility

Where a client chooses to run SMS or voice outreach, our intake and contact forms carry a consent notice so the people being contacted have agreed. The standard language is:

"By submitting, you agree to our Terms and authorize us to contact you via automated AI SMS and calls. Consent is not a condition of purchase."

Clients assume responsibility for how they use the AI tools we build. Our Terms of Service include an indemnification clause covering client misuse.

This page describes how we approach compliance in good faith; it is not legal advice and is not a warranty that any particular deployment satisfies every applicable law. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and by how a system is used. Clients should confirm their own obligations with qualified counsel.
